Tsering Dolma is a Tibetan lifestyle journalist based out of New York City. Her area of interest lies in fashion, arts, culture, feminism and Buddhist epistemology. She also deeply cares about the Tibetan freedom movement. Her native country, Tibet, was invaded by the Communist China in 1949 and soon after the invasion, her parents, along with thousands of Tibetans, fled from the fear of persecution to seek refuge in India.
In 2016, after working in the Indian media industry for 6 years, Dolma moved to the New York City to pursue her dreams (insert: the American dream). She is currently working as a Fashion Editorial intern with Atelier Doré, a media and news company founded by the fashion insider (and her muse), Garance Doré. Dolma also worked as social media and digital intern with premier public relations agencies in New York City. Besides painting, sketching and writing poetry, she also contributes articles for The Hindu, a national daily newspaper in India.
